Ice Maiden Diadem — A Ritual Crown of Ancient Queens. Inspired by the Sarmatian diadem discovered at the burial mound of Khokhlach. This piece is a faithful artistic replica, made to honor the original, not reinterpret it. This design reflects the unique fusion of Classical elegance and Sarmatian spiritual art.
Such headdresses were not merely ornaments, they were ceremonial objects, linked to fertility rites, sovereignty, and feminine force of the steppes.
A central feminine face stands at the heart of the diadem, historically carved in amethyst and here re-created in resin to respect the original form. It is flanked by stylized deer and ibex around a Tree of Life motif, echoing documented Sarmatian iconography.
The diadem is embellished with pearls and labradorite, alongside cabochons of red agate, dark jasper, aventurine, and amethyst — materials historically associated with prestige and ceremonial adornment.
Delicate gilt floral pendants complete the composition, referencing archaeological examples of ornamental drops used in ritual headpieces.
This is not simply jewelry —it is ceremonial armor, heirloom craft, and a respectful revival of ancient heritage. Handcrafted in brass using traditional techniques. Each diadem is shaped, forged, and set by hand, so slight variations will occur, reflecting the nature of true artisan work.
